Review:
While I did read Losing It (and really liked it), it was awhile ago and I couldn’t remember much from it. To be honest I didn’t even realize that some of the characters in the book where the main characters from Losing It. So it can be read as a standalone—however, I think it will add to the story if you read Losing It first.

Faking It is a story of opposites attracting. Cade (I love that name) is the poster boy for perfect. He is sweet, sexy, smart, thoughtful, and of course extremely attractive. He is licking his wounds from being rejected by the heroine of the first book Bliss. Mackenzie “Max” is a tattooed rocker girl that has no trouble speaking her mind. But she has an Achilles heel—her parents.

They pop up unexpectedly, and she is forced to act fast—which means she asks Cade, a boy who she doesn’t know, to pretend to be her boyfriend. This turns into more despite them being very different. Their chemistry is off the charts. And despite their being little actual sex—the steam is there. It’s not overly graphic, but very HOT!!!

And like many New Adult books, Cade and Max fight the demons from their youth, and grow into adults throughout the story. It is fun at times, and serious in others. Not to intense, but just enough angst to keep me hooked.

I highly recommend this book to fans of New Adult romance. You will not be disappointed!!!
