Review:
I would like to start out by saying that I wanted to love this book. It came HIGHLY recommended and when books come this highly recommended I usually love them. It just fell a bit short for me.

I read it mainly because I LOVE MC books and heard that the Chaos series is a spinoff off Motorcycle Man (the fourth and final book in this series), so I bought the entire Dream Man series, just so I could read the Chaos series.

I really LIKED Mystery Man (MM) but there were just things that had me so frustrated. And it isn’t what usually gets me frustrated either. It was the lingo. I love a “man of few words” but those few words have to make sense. I was continuously rereading things that the men would say trying to figure out what exactly they meant. And for some reason ALL the men talked all macho and confusing, not just MM. It just didn't flow well. Oh yeah and the women sometimes talked this way too?? That really got on my nerves :-(

So the plot starts with MM sneaking into Gwen’s bedroom for a year and a half at night, sleeping with her but she never finds out who he is, not even his name. Yes that’s creepy but somehow that didn’t bother me. She gets into some trouble because her sister is a crazy ass bitch, and suddenly he is there, divulging that he knew all about who she was stating “Sweet Pee, I know who I fuck.” He has camera’s set up all around her house, and he’s been spying on her for that entire year and a half—okay… Whatever. So I decided to let that one slide too because he’s super hot, and all alpha-male, and… well that’s why.

But what I could not get over was the fact that there are THREE yes THREE hot ass mofo’s all of the sudden vying for her attention. Is she a freaking super model?? Why do these men who are all supposedly gorgeous vying for the attention of the same women? And putting their lives in jeopardy to do so? She must have some super pheromones wafting off of her! LOL -- It was just unrealistic.

With that being said, let me get to what I LOVED about MM. First and foremost was the steamy chemistry between the two main characters that lead into hot, and I mean HOT, sex. MM aka Cabe “Hawk” Delgado is all sex on a stick, and I fell for him, hard. (I know his name is all kinds of hot too!)

So if you can get over the lingo, and the extreme providence that is Gwen’s attractive capacity, than you will like this book. It is definitely worth a try.
